Evergreens

Evergreens come in many shapes, sizes, colours and forms. Most popular in this area are spruce and cedar. These are great choices and must haves for your landscape. Once these are chosen, don’t forget the accents and different textures junipers and pines can bring to your yard. Upright junipers can do many things like be an anchor to the side of your house to soften the edges or provide a year round barrier for wind or eyes! Pine trees with their long needles also offer a change from the monotony of what everyone else has planted in their yard. Keep in mind that the more you have evergreens in your yard, the more interesting it will look in the winter once all the deciduous trees have lost their foliage.
